Green News Now: Enough is Enough!

Enough is Enough! Our world has completely changed. You are living in literal history right now. 100 years from now people will be reading about the Covid-19 pandemic and the new history of marijuana and CBD.

People all across America are losing their jobs, their homes, their livelihoods. People across the world are losing their lives. We have the ability to not only heal but to product the vert same products we are banning as imports from other countries right here in the US but because the main substance used carries so much stigma, we as a nation have not embraced the various uses and benefits of cannabis.

Its time to look at ALL of the benefits of cannabis. This is not about politics anymore but about a resource that can help restore American jobs, restore American hope, secure a future in not only farming but financial growth not to mention the health benefits of legalization.

Think of all the money used to treat cannabis as a criminal. Think of all the money used to import products that locally grown hemp can replace.

Here’s a quick and short rundown of things that can be made with hemp:

Medicine (this takes next to no processing – by the way)

Paper

Fabric for clothes, bags, flags (like our American Flag)

Plastics

Building Materials

Fuel (yep – fuel, we could stop drilling and using precious natural resources)

Food

Maybe if we stop making marijuana a taboo it will stop be treated as taboo by youth. Marijuana is NOT habit forming, the use of it DOES NOT affect your heart or breathing – you cannot die from using marijuana, it is NOT addictive, it does NOT kill brain cells, it does NOT make you sterile.

There are so many misconceptions around cannabis and all its cousins. Its time we start looking at facts and ways to shift into our new and emerging world with resources mother nature gave us.
