What’s inside Sweet Heat Chili CBD Honey?
Sweet Heat is the only CBD honey that uses a combination of fermented + fresh ingredients to create a distinctly delicious CBD Honey.
We start with Aji Limo paste, made using a traditional Peruvian recipe and organic Limo Pepper. Next up is Thai Chili, or “Bird’s Eye Chili.” While Thai Chili varies in its heat, they are about 15 times hotter than jalapeños most of the time (don’t worry we only use a touch). With a pinch of Ghost Pepper – because why not? – this honey is then rounded off with Apple Cider Vinegar and of course, organic Wildflower Honey.
How hot is Sweet Heat?
This honey is primarily made up of our Oregon-harvest wildflower honey… but it packs a punch!
On a scale from 1 to 10, we’d pin Sweet Heat around a 6 or 7. Each taste of this honey will give you a tangy sweet start, followed by a warming spicy kick. It certainly isn’t for the faint of heart, but won’t totally mask your meal!
How can I use this CBD Honey?
Usually, we suggest adding our honey to tea. NOT THIS ONE! Unless of course you want a real interesting cup of tea.
Instead, we recommend using this in cooking, or taking a packet as is. Try with a drizzle over grilled meats or veggies, add to your charcuterie board, work into sauce recipes, top your pizza, or infuse into your ginger juice shots. This honey is dynamic as an ingredient, so we encourage being adventurous. Taking the honey on its own is also a great health booster, and is sure to cleanse sinuses and uplift the spirit.
